The Skinner Family, Bobo and Pappy came over for dinner in celebration of Pappy's Birthday. We had the usual...steak, potatoes, salad from Olive Garden and then strawberry cake from Edgars.
Saxon had picked out a spiderman candle for Pappy's cake. However, when we took it out of the package, Spiderman's head fell off. So, we had to improvise and add his head back on with a toothpick.
Pappy had a wonderful time watching the girls play. After we ate dinner, it was time for cake. We sang to Pappy. I then asked Saxon and Anne Reaves to sing by themselves...but before I knew it...Saxon had blown out the candle. Okay folks, I am talking the cake is like 4 foot away. Anyway, it gave everyone a good laugh. We then kept moving the cake to see how far she could blow it out. Let's just say...she has a good set of lungs. We couldn't quit laughing.
Pappy then ate cake with all of his girls (all 6 of us). HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAPPY!! We love you!
