Light therapy and New Glasses - dec 30

It is time for LeLe to get new glasses and we had to do light therapy today!  Who know that stuffed animals need eye protection too?

I cannot believe that our little snowflake is 7!!!  Bobo came over this morning and had breakfast with us.  She gave LeLe an Madame alexander doll which was the scarecrow from the wizard of oz.  after she left we played games and then headed next door.  Kim and mark gave LeLe and gibson these cool osmo game puzzle thing for their ipad.  We then left and picked up the trotters and headed to chuckle cheese.  Let's just say that place is intense.  We couldn't drop a ticket or coin without someone else picking it up and running off with it.  We came home after a couple of hours and Matt cooked steak for everyone.  It was delicious.  We then had to have cake of course!!

Merry christmas!! Dec 25

We had a fantastic Christmas!  The kids loved playing with their wii this morning.  Since everyone else was scared to be around Gibson, we didn't even have anyone over this holiday. it has been very relaxing.

Christmas Eve!

Candle light service was spectacular.  Gibson fell fast asleep while LeLe stole the show.  She told everyone when asked during the childrens moment...that they should share the love of Jesus with their pets.  She also explained about the star being the sign of Jesus.  I was so very proud of her.  Folks even came up after bragging on her. 

When we got done with church we went to eat and then came home to watch for santa.

Haystacks...dec 23

Gibson has the flu...so we might as well cook.  LeLe enjoyed making haystacks.  We also took a trip to the Galleria today to visit with Santa.

Gibson just wasn't acting himself so I took him to Hoover urgent care instead of church.  He tested positive for the flu.  I kept him in the car into it was time for us to go back.  The wait was so long that we  had time to eat at the new McDonald's and go through Zaxbys drive thru.

Sick sick sick December 2nd

LeLe acted really weird when we got home. I'm pretty sure she was high from the medicine 

LeLe gradually got sicker Sunday and Monday.  I decided to take her to the doctor Monday afternoon.  They ended up putting her on antibiotics and breathing treatments.

We had the trotter family over to watch the Alabama game.  Alabama won and the kids had a blast!  LeLe is starting to act sick ;( 

Disney!! Magic kingdom and epcot- friday

Shannon had to work but got done around 10:30.  The kids were so excited and we were ready to hit the ground running.  We grabbed lunch as soon as we got inside the park.  It took us longer than expected to get our tickets squared away.  It was almost 1:00 eastern before we made it in.  We armte at the cosmic grill after riding space mountain.  Gibson was scared of the dark so he was crying by the time that I got the stroller parked and the magic bands purchased.  After eating we hit several other rides including splash mountain and gibsons favorite thunder mountain. 

The park closed at 7:00 for the very merry Christmas show.  Since we didn't have tickets, we took the monorail over to epcot where we ate Mexican and watched the epcot fireworks show.  Gibson and Brannan fell asleep in the stroller on the way back home. 

Chikfila night! November 4th

I got a call from my friend Shannon today inviting me to go to orlando with her over the weekend.  At first, I was hesitant....then decided, let's go!!  So Thursday, we will be leaving to go to Disney...the kids don't know!  What a fun girls trip!

LeLe woke up and picked out her breakfast this morning.  She chose a carrot!  

Tonight was chikfila night at the galleria. I loaded up the kids and we headed to the mall.  It was so much fun! 

Disney on ice!

We met he trotters and the Bennett's for Disney on ice.  We had a great time!  Gibson didn't take his eyes off the show. 

Crazy sock day! October 28

Today is crazy sock day!  LeLe picked out her outfit including her Red Sox shirt. Who knew she even had it?? She didn't want to wear regular shoes either!  Today it just wasn't worth the fight!

I spent all day catching up...washing clothes and doing orders.  I also am ramping up for the Halloween parties this week.  It's about to get crazy!!

Mom cooked us dinner.  Matt had to work late but it didn't stop us from celebrating my birthday.  She bought me an ice cream cake but we waited a little too long and it melted....a lot.  We got tickled lighting the candles too.  She gave me a hilarious card....but in normal fashion, forgot to sign it. 

Pigeon forge- day 1

I am not sure who was the happiest to be in pigeon forge, the kids or Matt!  He loves Dollywood.  I tend to agree.  While we have been to bigger and better themem parks, this one just has the nicest workers and visitors.  Matt and I decided that we were either the youngest person by at least 50 years or the smallest by 200 lbs.

The kids rode many many many rides including all but the ones that they were to small for...they both love the big ones! LeLe asked the workers a lot of questions and they both told everyone wearing Alabama garb...roll tide! We ate breakfast before we went at some random pancake house and then ate lunch at the park at grandmas kitchen.  We ordered pizza for dinner when we got home.

Dollywood Day 2 - October 25th

We woke up fairly and decided to go ahead an do the park again.  This time we grabbed lunch at the park as soon as we got there.  This time we are at Aunt Granny's kitchen which was a buffet that had fried chicken and veggies.  The kids loved the park.  Unfortunately there were more people there than yesterday.  We had to park way out and hitch a ride on the trolley.  

We spent the entire day riding rides and before we left to come home, Matt agreed to some paid games...obviously, he was better at them than I anticipated.  He won a huge donut right away.  I'm not quite sure what we are going to do with it but everyone was super excited!

Surprise Vacation! October 23, 2014

Matt surprised us with a trip for the weekend to dollywood.  The kids had a dental appointment on Thursday evening.  We took them to get their teeth cleaned, ran home to finish packing and then left around 5:00 headed to Gatlinburg.  The kids always love going to the dentist.  Every time we pass it, they want to go.  We made it to the cabin around midnight...with both kids wide awake!

Sick Sunday - 10/12/14

The kids probably should not have swam yesterday...Gibson woke up several times with nose bleeds and LeLe was very puney.  We decided to lay around while Matt went on to church.  Afterwards, we went to the movie to see alexander and the no good horrible day.  I loved it...Gibson kept asking in the movie..."what color is this candy?  I cannot see anything....is this one blue? Is this one orange? Is the movie over?  Why is it so dark? ". I'm pretty sure it wasn't his favorite movie.  ;)

Matt grilled for dinner and we played uno.   We played 8 rounds....Gibson won 6 times even without us letting him! 

Football and swimming!

One if my favorite things to do...sit by the pool and watch football.  Today was no exception.  The kids were a little on the sick side so we slept in and missed their soccer games.  I cooked breakfast and then we watched football and swam. 

The say even gotten sweeter as auburn lost and Alabama won...barely.

Columbus Day...mcwane

The kids were out of school today for Columbus Day.  Unfortunately, the sunshine was also on vacation.  We decided to go to the mcwane center with the Bennett's to help move the day along.  The kids had a blast.  There were a little too many folks there for me.
