Happy Monday! November 2nd

These two are dressed for fall but it really feels more like summer! We are so excited that LeLe has her boot off.  We are having a hard time finding all of her matching shoes considering we have been wearing only 1 for 2 months.  She does complain of some muscle and ankle pain and seems to still limp around a little.

Dentist! - Nov 5th

Gibson woke up this morning shouting that it was going to be a great day....I'm going to the DENTIST!!!

Who knew the dentist could be so fun? These kids love it and have been counting down the days and hours until we go.  

Wednesday, November 3rd- Skinny boy...

What happens when you are too skinny for your pants?  This happens...during P.E. At school and just when you are walking!

Gibson said the PE teacher told him..."well this is embarrassing"..I think Gibson just stood there and played without pulling up his pants! 

School Popcorn Party!

Today there was a lot going on at the school.  I am in charge of fundraising and we had several classes that met goals of contributions.  LeLes class brought in the most and was given a popcorn party.  I tried to track down popcorn but ended up buying a popcorn machine and popping it for all of the classes.  They had a lot of fun.  Afterwards, the trotters came by to play for the night.

Matt and I have been teaching the kids how to play Life and Uno.  They LOVE it!!

Lunch with Gibson - oct 21

Matt went to eat lunch with Gibson on Monday.  He was so excited that he talked about it all night.  He has been asking me to come back and eat lunch with him for the past 2 days.  I told him that if I came, that he would have to talk to me (which he normally doesn't).  We decided to eat in the courtyard and he didn't stop talking the entire time.  He is such a cutie!

He did say on Monday that it was the best day ever!  He was the line leader, daddy came to eat with him and he got to hold Mrs. Eason's hand all day!

New glasses!

It is time for LeLe's annual eye exam.  She has been complaining of headaches over the past few weeks and really seems to have them consistently....so we moved up our appointment.  Dr. Lewis has been seeing her since she was about 3.  The past few times LeLe's prescription continues to go down.  LeLe has a lazy eye and since it needs correcting, they add some prescription to the glasses so that the eye will turn in.  After today, we are at the smallest prescription that they can use to do this.  So, this maybe it for Lele.  She was more concerned about what her new glasses were going to look like.  She has already picked them out....and of course...they are very unique!

Happy 4th of July!

We made the decision a week or so ago to bite the bullet and come to the beach. We left out this morning.  

We had to take Sadie to the vet as she had an episode last weekend which makes us realize that she won't be with us much longer.  We decided to board her at the vet so someone could watch her closely.

We stopped at whataburger to eat and then at dollar general to use the bathroom. (No gas stations around) and made it to the beach in about 4 hours. 

Matt watched the children while I went to the grocery.  When we got back we went to margaritaville to eat dinner and watch the fireworks.  

Graduation day!

How in the world is my little baby Gibson old enough to be having his 4k graduation?  With mixed emotions, I said bye to a lot of the people who I have seen every day (most of the time while I was still in my pajamas). 

Puppy DeliverySaturday, April 4th

Today is the day that we take the puppies to their forever home.  I met Cowboys family half way to Tuscaloosa.  LeLe rode with me (she is feeling better) and she started crying when we handed him over.  She has such a tender heart.  On the way there, she was telling him how to be a good dog.  It was precious.  We love these little creatures!

After Cowboy, I took Lottie.  I let LeLe stay home and she did much better.  We all took naps and then we dyed eggs that night.  The kids had a blast and the eggs turned out beautifully!  

Poor kid...Friday, April 3rd

LeLe woke up complaining of her ear and throat.  I decided that she probably had strep but had promised to see the movie Home.  We went to see the movie before heading to the doctor at 3:30.  Matt came and grabbed Gibson before we left.  Thank the Lord he did!  

After they swabbed LeLe's throat, she started vomiting and didn't stop until late last night.  She threw up so much that she blew the blood vessels in her face.  

She was most upset about having to miss Saxons party tomorrow.  

Easter 2015- no church for us

The kids were so excited that the Easter Bunny came!! Gibson was must excited about his Mario Party and LeLe was pumped about the tire swing!

LeLe was bad sick with the stomach bug in Friday.  She was re cooperating yesterday and now, I have been hit!  I didn't ever throw up but let me say that my body may have gotten hit by a Mack truck while I slept.

Cinderella is in the House- feb 27

LeLe had the first grade Fairy Tale ball today.  She chose to be Cinderella so we borrowed a dress from a friend and bought some shoes and she was set.

Never a dull moment - sat feb 28

Matt was folding clothes...hit is head and down came the light.  With all that being said, we spent half the day replacing this chandelier.  The kids went with Lauren to the park.  

A day of rest

I am worthless....we slept in missed church...ate lunch and then took a 4 hour nap.  It is now 10 and I am in bed again!  I am ready for this headache to pass! Daddy did teach LeLe how to make green beans! 

No puppies

We skipped church thinking that we were having puppies....but no puppies came ;(

Instead I went to a funeral for a mom of a dear friend and the kids went with Lauren to the summit.   Unfortunately, gibson ran smack into a table and bruised up his eye pretty bad.  

LeLe has been dying to put on makeup from our Disney trip.  So we did!  Look how long her eyelashes are!

Happy New Year!!

We brought in the new year....eating!  We went over to the trotters to celebrate.  We didn't even eat our peas this year but we did have some pork.  I hope that counts.   We have definitely been blessed in 2014 and look forward to some very exciting days in 2015.  Gibson loved their doctor set and we were super pumped to see ms Akin from school on television!

Roll tide!

We brought in the second of January by cheering on the tide! The trotters came over to watch the game.  I spent all day cleaning out the frig and the pantry.  I believe we probably threw out 6 bags of stuff.  

The tide didn't bring home the win.  We had fun regardless.
