Chilling with Daddy

Ever since LeLe was born (or 4 months as shown above), it has been our nightly ritual for Matt to watch television with LeLe (for just a few minutes) to help her sizzle down. Recently, she has decided that she would start getting up when she knew that she was getting really sleepy. So, now we have to warn her when she starts to jump off the couch. It goes something like this...

"LeLe, if you get off the couch you have to go night night".

She responds as she quickly sits down..."WeWe sit down".

About one minute, she stands up and kisses her daddy on the head. We repeat.."LeLe if you get off the couch, you will have to go night night".

She responds immediately as she lays down.."WeWe laying down".

Then about 3 minutes later...She peeks into the floor to Sadie (who also has to lay at the foot of the couch each night) and states..."WeWe rub Sadie"

So, Sadie stands up and lets LeLe rub her head....then she walks off...followed by LeLe stating..."WeWe get down" and then the whole thing repeats.

Luckily, we only let her do one or 2 times until we actually put her in bed. BUT, we don't mind as this is the only time these days that she will mostly sit quietly and lets us enjoy holding her. Man! Has time not flown by...
