Sniffles are Here!

Laura Elizabeth has had the sniffles since Halloween. On Thursday night, Matt and I were planning to meet the Bakers for dinner. However, when I went to pick up LeLe at mother's house, she was running 101 temperature. I decided that we should probably call the doctor because she had blood coming out her nose. Luckily, Aunt Kate was working at the After Hours Children's clinic so we were able to quickly get seen. After a couple of hours, a chest x-ray, and urine test, they determined that LeLe probably just has a virus. He said if her breathing got worse, to take her to see her regular doctor.

So, Friday morning, she was running around 102 degree fever. She was very whiny and I decided to go ahead and take her to the doctor. Dr. Huie agreed that it was viral after running some blood work. She weighed in at 19 lbs and 13 ounces. So, she is definitely getting heavier.

Laura came in town to bring Saxon to the doctor as well. Unfortunately, she has an ear infection.

After taking both girls to the doctor, we quickly ran to get LeLe's first birthday invitations! I cannot believe that it is already drawing near. It is unbelievable how fast time has flown by! Since her birthday falls 2 days after Christmas, I am planning on a party before Christmas! I just hope that some folks show up since the holidays are always so hectic.

This morning, LeLe seemed to feel a little better. I am not sure if it is because she slept from 7 pm to 9:30 am or not. However, when she got up, she wouldn't put her baby down. She even made her sit in the high chair while she ate breakfast. I would try to take baby away from her and she would get upset. Tonight, she tried out her rocking chair that was handed down from Matt. She seems to really like it but doesn't really know how to rock yet.
