Project Sewing Room

Laura Elizabeth woke us up bright and early today. NO sleeping in for us like yesterday. Since I had so much time on my hands, I decided today we would put peg board in the sewing room. While I am sure that it won't win any house decorating awards, it SURE does make all of my stuff look better. Actually, the room transformed from a junk room with sewing machines to a scrapbooking/sewing room. I never realized that I had so MUCH stuff. I guess now that I can see it all, I probably don't need anything else for a LONG time! I found that I have 12 boxes of photo stickers!

Anyway, after 2 trips to Home Depot and Lowes...we finally got finished. I am attaching pictures because I am SURE that it will never look like this again!

Laura Elizabeth decided to play with her baby doll again today. She has stood up several times from a sitting position without holding onto anything. She isn't walking yet...but we aren't promoting it either. She seems to get into enough stuff as it is. You can tell in the picture that she is very focused on getting the baby doll into the stroller.

Oh yeah! While I was starting a load of laundry, I noticed that she got unusually quiet. I walked into the den and found her drinking my coke! She was drinking it the correct way out of a can but had successfully poured it all down her pajamas and was sitting in a puddle of coke. I couldn't help but laugh at her. She thought it was funny too.

I'm very impressed with your room, too. Of course, the laugh out loud part was picturing LeLe drinking your coke! The silence is the clue to something isn't it? She is precious with her doll!

Love the sewing room--I did the same with one of our guest rooms. I am actually launching a spring line of children's clothing in March--I am working on it now. I am using a lot of Amy Butler and Michael Miller fabrics. We need to get together when I come to Birmingham
