We have been very fortunate that LeLe is such a healthy little baby. However, starting Sunday morning, she had her first fever. We began treating it with Tylenol and Motrin but that didn't seem to break it. As the day went on, the fever went higher. She definitely acted funny. Matt was a nervous wreck. I found him during the night sneaking out of the bedroom to check her fever.
Monday morning, I decided to take her to see Dr. Huie. She just didn't seem right. He said that she had blisters on her throat and in her mouth but it appeared to be viral. He said that they may develop on her hands and feet along with diarrea. Well, sure enough throughout the week, we have begun seeing all of these symptoms. While at the doctor, they weighed "little bit". She weighed in at 17 lbs and 15 oz. I do think that she has lost some weight throughout this considering she hasn't eaten much.
I believe that she has been downgraded this week from Hurricane to Tropical Storm status. :)
