First Day of School

Laura Elizabeth started her Mother's Day Out program today at Hunter Street. Bobo came over to get her ready and take her while I went to work. Well, on my way to work...I couldn't stand it and ended up driving back home to take her as well. I mean..how many times does your little baby go to school for the first day?

We had to take her picture beforehand. I decided to do the same thing that mother always made us do...sit on the front steps with our backpacks. Anyway, LeLe thought it was fun. After the picture, we headed toward Hunter Street. When we got there, she smiled at everyone. She absolutely LOVED it. She didn't even realize that we had left the room. There was another little girl in her class that was born in November. LeLe and she decided to take turns touching each other. She, of course, quickly moved on to all of the "new" toys!

I met mother there at 12:30 to pick her back up. The teacher said that she was very social and mobile and that she never made a sound. Believe it or not, she even fell asleep in the swing watching the kids play. I am just blown away that she sat in a swing!

I am so glad that we have signed her up to go to Mom's Day Out. She was the happiest baby all day long and I believe she thoroughly enjoyed it!

The backpack is bigger than her! I love the bottoms of her shoes. She always looks like she's having fun!
