LeLe and Gibson had a dentist appointment this morning at 9:30. We slept in and then headed to see Clark Thomas. The kids LOVE him! They both got xrays done on their mouths and lele got an xray which showed her permanent teeth. When looking at the xray, Dr. Thomas asked me if there was anyone in our family with missing teeth. I told him that I did not think so and explained that there appeared to be a missing permanent tooth from LeLe's mouth. Weird huh? It is one of the top teeth and to be honest, I cannot remember if it is her eye tooth or the one beside it. Regardless, it took my by surprise...and I guess we should go ahead and start a dental fund for her.
When we got done at the dentist, we headed home to swim for a few hours before we had to head to her orthopedic followup at Children's South. There was a kid in the waiting room that had on squeeky shoes. Let's just say...squeeky shoes are great while the kid is sitting down. But, if you aren't watching your kid and let him run wild...I am not a fan. After about 20 minutes of constant squeeking, William got called back. I almost broke out in a clapping celebration. Finally, we got called. Dr. Kloury seems to think that her ankle is healing but said that it was still "soft". He recommended that we stay in the boot for another week while at school and then promoted her to a different lace up boot for the following 3 weeks. Sounds lovely right? She also has to do exercises at night to help strengethen the ligaments.

Spring break!!
We decided to stay in town for spring break. We had actually purchased a heater for our pool but we should have purchased a heater for the sun. It is just too cold to do anything pool related. I decided to spend all day Saturday, Sunday, Monday and most of the night last night to do taxes. We did take a break on Monday to go to the zoo. It was packed. Tartan, we headed to costco and hung out around the house. We are lunch at Jim n nicks and then took my car to get serviced.
Tomorrow our nephew Alex is coming to spend the day with us.
We found out today that lady is going to have 4 puppies. They should be here next week.

Ready for School...
I don't know that I have ever seen LeLe so ready to go to school. She was super excited about showing everyone her injury. I laughed so hard when watching her go into the school. She definitely had her limp on!
Today was rather uneventful. I took Gibson to school...picked him up...ran to the grocery...grabbed LeLe from school...to her to Ms. Sheri's....picked her up....came home....grabbed dinner...and here I am now.
Sounds like fun huh!

Orthopedic Visit
We slept in and at 8:30 we got a call saying that we needed to be a Children's at 9:30. Nothing like a call to get things moving. I quickly jumped in the shower, got out the clothes for the kids, dried my hair...and we jumped in the car. LeLe and I made it to Children's by 9:35. I was so proud of my self. The quickly got us back. We were the ONLY ones in the waiting room. Matt took Gibson to school.
We went back to xray. I don't think it was what LeLe was expecting. She seemed a little disappointed that they weren't going to give her a copy of her xray.
After x-ray, we saw Dr. Klorey (sp?). He quickly pulled on both ankles and determined it was Level 2 ankle sprain. She is required to wear a boot for the next 6 weeks. Unfortunately, she is in between boot sizes. So we can either go with a smaller boot (that is for toddlers up to size 13) or a kid boot (which starts at size 1-4). Since the kid boot was WAY too tall and long, we went with the toddler boot...where her toes hang over the end. It absolutely drives me nuts...but there isn't much that I can do about it.
She was super excited about her boot. We then headed to lunch at Jim N nicks where she had to tell everyone about her ankle. We headed to target to get some cool socks and some stickers so that she could decorate it (she didn't like the black part) and then to get Gibson. When he got in the car, he freaked and began crying...he was so worried about his sister.
We were suppose to go to church, but I was exhausted...and the kids were out of control. We purchased the Frozen movie on the iPad, grabbed dinner at the pizza place, and then came home piled in the bed..and watched the movie...before crashing.

Dermatologist, Doctors...and more Doctors..
Mom was suppose to be at the house at 9:30 so we could take Gibson to school and then take LeLe to the dermatologist appointment. I had a bunch of questions that I had prepared for the dermatologist. Unfortunately, I was running on time, and Mom wasn't...so she got here around 9:45. Since we were running late, there wasn't time to take Gibson to school....so to the dermatologist we ALL went.
Gibson was absolutely out of control. I am not quite sure of his deal. We all went back to the room. Gibson had to use the bathroom so mom took him. The doctor came in, quickly removed the stitches...Mom and gibson came back to the room (gibson scared the nurses)...and I was so flustered, I didn't ask the first question.
It is psoriasis...and there is a 40% chance it will develop into arthritis...but that is all that I remember. They changed us to ANOTHER steriod cream and sent us on our way. We have ANOTHER appointment in a month for a followup visit. It is rather frustating.
I was DONE....and I ran by the Pants Store to see if that had anything that I needed....and then we stopped at chikfila for lunch. We came back to the house to eat..mom left and i let the kids play while we waited for 1:00 to come so that we could head to see Dr. McCain.
Dr. McCain got us quickly back (we had 2:15) appointment. Gibson was at 95% on height and a little above 50% on weight. He had gained significant weight and grew a couple of inches (i need to get the correct measurements). He is on target to be 6 footish...
LeLe also around 75-90% on height...and that is all I can remember...by the time we got to LeLe...things were headed south.
Dr. McCain said everyone looked good. Since Gibson still has the contagious rash, they cannot bathe together or use the same towels. She is referring us to another dermatologist and is going to be sending us to an ortho doctor to see about her ankle. She is concerned about it.
Overall, it went well...minus a few yell out sessions. I am sure that they are always glad to see us come and go!
Never a dull moment!!

Spring Forward.....
You know what that means...Spring forward = grumpy kids.
We are late sleepers at the Holland House. Spring forward week is not our friend!
We woke up...barely...drug LeLe to school...took G to school and then came back to work. I didn't get a lot done today. I grabbed Gibson from school and Matt grabbed lele. When she got here, we loaded up and headed to gymnastics.
She came up in the beginning of gymnastics complaining of her leg. This is the leg where she has the psoriasis patch and stitches. I assumed it was just because she didn't want to do whatever they were doing. I warned her..."Don't come back up here complaining of your leg." I noticed on the last few activities that she didn't have a turn. I was getting kind of frustrated that she wasn't going but just wrote it off since it was our last day of gymnastics.
We loaded up and took our friend's Carrie and Emily Kathryn home. When we go to the house, LeLe limped up the stairs. I told her "walk right...your leg is fine". Matt took more time with her and asked what was hurting...she said..."My leg here"...pointing to her ankle. Evidently, she had turned it at some point when she was running during gymnastics. Matt yelled for me..."Have you seen this?". I don't think that is ever a good question...
We headed to grab dinner at On Tap and Matt went into Lowes. We had to carry LeLe as she was unable to walk.
When we got home, I realized my site was down...so no Monday madness tonight!

Trip to the dermatologist
I took LeLe and Gibson to school. Sweet little Angela Warren came over and helped me inventory items. Around 12:30, I headed or the school to check leLe out. We then headed to get Gibson. After picking him up, we ran by Sasser optometry so that she could pick up her new glasses. Eh then grabbed lunch at the Pita Stop before headed to the dermatologist.
Gibson has a rash on his stomach and groin area that seems to really bother him. The rash really isn't red but does seem to itch. One look at it and the doctor said that it was mole scum something which is a viral skin infection that is common and can take up to 18 months to heal. All that I could say...is "awesome". No more sharing a bath with leLe or any thing like that.
LeLe has had a rash on her leg since before she started kindergarten. Some patches has appeared on her faces and arms so I decided it was time to get it checked. The doctor explained that it was eczema on her face but that she thought it looked like psoriasis on her leg. They wanted to take a biopsy. She explained to leLe that they would numb her leg and then scrape a little off for the. To check. They would tie a bow around the area to make it pretty. She got upset. Ut we calmed her down. I guess I should have realized when about 6 people walked in that this was not going to be pretty. I sat at her head. One lady laid across her chest, another 2 at her feet and the. Be ones doing the procedure. When they pulled out the shots, all hell broke loose. LeLe went nuts. Screaming and carrying on is a understatement. Gibson had been watching his iPad but quickly decided he didn't like them hurting her, so he starting hitting one of the nurse yelling...don't hurt my sister. Then he realized, he may be next and started trying to leave. I finally asked everyone to stop a minute and for the nurse to take Gibson out. LeLe still was a basket case. They iced her down and sewed up the place where they had taken out. Blood was everywhere.
We left there, Lauren came by with prizes and we event to grab dinner. Not exactly how I had the day planned.

Bowling....
LeLe had a trip planned with her class to go to the bowing alley. I had emailed the teacher to make sure she felt okay and she sent back pictures of her dancing and singing...clearly, she was fine.
I did take in medicine to the office at the school. Wouldn't you know it...there was a sub for a nurse and clearly she wasn't prepared for medicine. She asked me a bunch of questions, I signed a form and I was on my way...
About an hour later, she called to get the doctor's number. I didn't question it and just gave it to her. I took a shower and headed to meet Hillary and Ashley Newman for lunch. We discussed old times and had a great time laughing.
During lunch, I got a call from the dermatologist questioning why I would want to give Lele advil for the rest of the year. I just laughed it off and told them just to ignore the call. Clearly, home girl didn't have a clue at the nurses station at school.

Drive to Fort Payne
I took the kids to Lauren's about 9:30 and left them there. I took Lady to Fort Payne....I finally found the place. Scott thought it would be a good idea if she stayed...so I left her. Matt got a ride home with a co-worker. He caught a flight back home. I got home around 2:00. I took a nap from 3-6...missing most of the Super Bowl. We laid around all night. We are exhausted

Day 8 - Hollywood Studios
We slept in again...got on the road by about 11...grabbed lunch at Chickfila. We drove into park at Magic Kingdom and we were placed on the VERY LAST row. I decided that it wasn't going to work so we left...and went to Hollywood Studios.
We ended up having to take the tram at Hollywood Studios (against my better judgement). We did fine. I just took my time unloading and loading. Once in Hollywood Studios, we went to the back lot to see Wreck it Ralph, Venelope, Incredibles, and "Wizard" Mickey. Gibson insisted we wait in line again to see Mickey. The kids dressed themselves today...and they didn't look like something that I would share. :) They had fun though.
Around 3:00, I got a call from the vet saying that we needed to breed Lady today or tomorrow at the latest to have puppies. I called Matt...he was going to be long so insisted I go ahead and leave. I checked Magic Kingdom wait times and they were all at about an hour. Since it was humid, wet and now hot, I decided that I would just go ahead and leave. I let the kids make the decision and they were ready to go home.
Once at the hotel, I stopped to return the stroller. The place was packed! I went to the hotel to pack. Then I took the stroller in telling the dude that I still needed access to my room. When I got back to the room (which we had to load up in the car each time), it was locked. I was fuming... I loaded the kids back up and headed back to the office. When I got there, they said I would have to meet Loss Prevention at the room. When I got to the room, Loss Prevention insisted I show proof of ID. Of course, I lost it....I didn't have any proof...it was in my hotel room!! Finally, I walked in and showed him...ran him out of there (he offered to help but I didn't want help). at 5:45, I FINALLY got out of there!
The ride went good....we stopped and had dinner at McAlisters and McDonalds in Florida. By about 9:40, Gibson was asleep...by 10:40, LeLe was.
I stopped to get me an audio book which helped the time pass. We rolled up into Rushing Parc around 2:30. I was surprised at how much sand was on the roads from the snow. The dogs were VERY excited to see us!

Day 7 - Magic Kingdom/Epcot without Matt
I had planned on getting up early to make up for lost time at Disney. However, 8:00 came a little early. We slept in and left around 10:30. I took Matt to the JW Marriott for his conference. I wasn't going to go back to the parks without rain boots. So the kids and I set off on a mission. We went to several places in the outlets near our hotel but didn't have any luck. I called Target and they said that they had some boots. Luckily, it wasn't that far away. We drove to target and the kids spotted a Waffle House. We went and grabbed some lunch there before heading to Target.
We found some boots at Target. The kids went ahead and got their surprises for the day. Around 1ish we headed to the parks. It was much better with boots. I decided to park at Epcot in hopes of not having to take the tram from the parking lot into the parks. I got almost all the way into the park from parking at the end...when I realized that I left my phone. Luckily, I talked some little traffic guy into letting me park up front. I got killer parking next to handicap and the crew. We walked right in...LeLe wanted to see Elsa and Anna so we walked into Norway for her to see them again. LeLe spotted an Elsa shirt that I normally wouldn't purchase but she was so obsessed...I gave in.
We went back to Crush the turtle and through Nemo before we headed to Magic Kingdom. I didn't realize that the monorail from Epcot to MK was also closed from 11-7. So, we headed on the monorail to the transportation station...and then caught the ferry to MK. We rode a ton of rides and grabbed some fast passes at MK.
We did the Belle ride which we hadn't done before. We went back to the Cosmic Grill for dinner. We stood on the Tomorrowland bridge which gave us prime location to see the projection on the castle and tinkerbell. Since it was so wet, the fireworks were a bust. We rode Peter Pan and Barnstormer (I had to grab a person who I didn't know to sit with LeLe). We had a fast pass to Aladden but didn't make it there in time. During the Electric parade, we rode Thunder Mountail Railroad......3 times....and it was fast, fun and Gibson LOVED it!!
We closed down the park doing Thunder Mountain at 10:00. We took the monorail from MK to Transportation Station, then to Epcot. I didn't realize the ride to Epcot was going to take so long. We made it to our car at 11:40 but my plan of not having to take the tram worked.
The kids crashed before I got home. It was a GREAT Day!

Day 6 - No Go...
We slept really late...as in like...10:45. We got dressed for the parks. We grabbed some McDonalds in preparation for the trip to the park....we couldn't decide which park to go to. We got all the way into the Epcot entrance when Matt and I decided, we couldn't do it. We then drove around for about an hour until we decided to go to the movies. The kids and I went to Frozen again. They were so in love with the Disney stuff that it was a good little break. Matt went to see Lone Survivor. I had seen it previously and insisted that he see it. It is an INCREDIBLE movie. The kids and I ate our weight in popcorn...and split the 96 oz coke all over the theater.
While we waited on Matt go get out, we ran into a few stores in the shopping center. When the movies were over, we debated on going to the parks but since it was now 6:30, we decided to go home and rest. We ordered in pizza from a local pizza place (which was very good). They delivered to our hotel. I think the name of it was Flippers?
The kids enjoyed playing with each other...I did taxes for my 1099 and Matt watched his normal cooking shows. We called it a night around 10:30.

Day 5 - COLD....and Wet...Magic Kingdom
We woke up and went to our time share meeting. Matt and I were impressed at first but then got aggravated that the lady didn't wrap up sooner when we said we need to go. We got there by 10:45 and didn't leave until almost 2. We did purchase an extra week of travel time to be used within the next 18 months.. It was for a 2 bedroom villa.
We were very aggravated when we left. The kids were starving but did VERY well. We ran back to the condo and changed clothes, then we went to Chickfila to grab lunch and headed to the park. Luckily, the night before I had purchased ponchos at Walgreens. We went first to the Monster's Inc program and the kids thought it was funny. After the Monsters show, the bottom fell out. We walked over to buzz lightyear, Speedway, and we were able to ride a lot of rides without a long wait. We then quickly went from ride to ride without much of a line, we ended up riding the Barnstormer ride about 4 times without even having to get off of it. We left when the fireworks started as the kids were FREEZING and we were all soaked. At one point, I had on 3 shirts, 2 coats and a poncho. Unfortunately, I only had one pair of shoes...tennis shoes. LeLe's feet were so wet that the coloring on her hot pink shoes...was rubbing off on her socks. We had an awesome rain cover on the stroller so it was great to cover both kids without them getting anything on them.
We were craving something besides chicken nuggets so we found a Mexican place. Gibson had fallen asleep in the car so he slept through the entire dinner. LeLe, however, chomped down some mexican and her virgin Strawberry daiquiri.
We came home, took hot showers and crashed. Gibson....never woke up.

Day 4 - Hollywood Studios
We woke up earlier today but not too early. We had lunch plans at Hollywood and Vine at 11:15. We were super excited that they had updated their line up to include Doc McStuffins, Sophia, Handy Mandy and Jake. The kids were almost so excited that they couldn't eat.
Matt and I feel like all we have done is walk and eat...which is about the truth. We walked directly into the park again today. The kids ate pretty well considering that they were super pumped. Every 10-15 minutes the characters would get all of the kids up to dance. They had a ball! We got several calls about the weather back in Birmingham during our lunch. It looks like they are getting snow back home and cancelling schools (as our phones were buzzing with all kind of messages from the school.)
After lunch, we headed the muppets 3d show. Gibson was again scared during the show but since it wasn't all that scary, did not run out. He just doesn't like 3d at all....or the dark. After the 3d show, we saw pheneas and ferb. Star Wars was up next. Gibson really liked star wars. After Star wars, we headed to Little Mermaid show, got prizes and then headed to watch a road show. The road show was put on by the maintenance crew and was hilarious! They called LeLe up during the show and she loved it! They were spraying everyone with water.
We then headed to Disney Jr Live where we found out that people were stranded everywhere in Alabama. We were a little bummed that we couldn't help our friends or play in the snow but we were having a blast.
We decided after the show to head back to the room and forgo our Illuminations fast passes. We came back to the condo and swam. Around 7:00, we jumped in the showers and headed to a local Brazilian steak house. I had never been to a steak house like it before and it was super fun! They fed us a TON of meat. They had beef straganoff which I really enjoyed.
After dinner, we went to downtown Disney where we visited the Lego store (kids made and raced lego cars). Then over to the Disney store where they purchased Lady and Tramp...and we got a few things too.
Then we headed home around 11:30 to jump in the bed.
