Build A Bear

I took off work today so that Bobo could take Pappy to UAB. Fortunately, we got some good news. We won't know the extent of it until we get his MRI results but we are praying that he may have some treatment options for his liver cancer. He goes back on November 9th, so please keep him in your prayers.

As for us, LeLe and I headed to meet some friends for a Halloween Build-A-Bear party. I didn't come equiped with the other 2 animals that we already have so therefore, we had to get a new one.....with a costume. After much consideration, LeLe decided to opt for Hello Kitty. I was trying to twist her arm for one of the $10 ones but what can I say...she has expensive taste.

LeLe looked like a pro filling up the "kitty". She then decided to pick her out a Sleeping Beauty costume. Unfortunately, "Kitty" has a big head so in relation to her body, she looks pretty funny. Regardless, Kitty has made her spot in LeLe's bed.

We had a WONDERFUL time meeting all of the friends at Build-A-Bear. I enjoyed spending time with my sewing buddy, Cydney. After Build-A-Bear, we rode the carosel. LeLe loves to jump from one animal to another. We then grabbed some lunch and rushed home for a quick nap.

Upon waking, we headed to the Vestavia Fall Carnival at Alex's school. Alex was ADORABLE and was very happy to see his little cousin, LeLe. LeLe was just as excited to see Alex and wanted to hold his hand the entire time. She ate cotton candy for the first time and it was a hit! We enjoyed watching Alex do several of the activities and even joined in a few ourselves. Thanks Hollie and Alex for letting us come.

When it came bedtime, LeLe was out of it. Let me just say, even though it is very hard for her to find a spot to sleep, she knows if ONE of the animals is missing from the bed and knows each one of these things by name...I believe that there are about 30+ creatures in her bed....some are underneath the HUGE elephant (aka Big Al)!

Matt is out of town through the weekend. We are already ready for him to come home.
