Happy Days!

LeLe woke up in a fantastic mood. She was so excited to wear her watermelon dress! We decided to take a few pictures before school this morning. I finally convinced her to put Baby Bop and BJ down for a picture. Notice how she sat them right beside her. Such a silly girl!! She also has a new "silly" face.

Tonight we brought down the blanket with the flying bird. I am not exactly sure what you call it but basically, it is a blanket that has arches attached. There is a bird that hangs down from the arches. Let's just say, Gibson wasn't very interested in the bird. He would rather you sit in the floor and talk with him. So, that is what we did! He is such a happy baby!

He actually cried his first tear tonight though. He just never cries! We are so fortunate. He is sleeping about 6 or so hours each night. However, if you don't swaddle him, he will be up every 3 or so. He is about to outgrow his swaddling blanket so I have tried to wean him off by leaving it off. Let's just say, I am going to be purchasing a larger size as $15 isn't worth waking up several times a night!

LeLe is still waking up. I am giving her medicine for her teeth as she complains about them when I get upstairs. She is enjoying playing outside every day with her daddy and is really enjoying sidewalk chalk.

I took the kids picture this morning before taking LeLe to school. Little man and I ran by Thimbles to pick up some fabric and then headed back home to do laundry. I am expecting his announcements to be in any day now.

Bath Time!

Gibson loves having a bath! Today after I dropped LeLe off at school, we came home to give "G" a bath. He loves it! He talks and coos and kicks his big little legs.

I decided to put on a cool outfit since it is going to be 87 degrees today! I had previously purchased a 6 month outfit but as you can tell, it won't make it through the summer as it is already tight!

First Dentist Appointment

Today was LeLe's first visit to the dentist. We have heard some wonderful things about Pediatric and Adolescent Dentistry and decided to make an appointment with them. The office was incredible. They had little cars in the waiting area for the children to play in. Once we were called back, they took a picture of LeLe with Cinderella and then proceeded to let her put her handprint on a ceiling tile to be hung up in the office. Jai then cleaned her teeth before Dr. Johnson checked them.





Laura and the girls surprised us by coming by later in the afternoon. We were able to get out and run a couple of errands before Laura had to head back to Tuscaloosa. We had a great time spending time with each other but definitely don't know how you can have more than 2 children as we were about to lose it before the day was out. We ran by Taco Casa for lunch, then by the cleaners, and Target. We had a minor catastrophe in Target that about sent us both over the edge. We did learn though that if one girl cries...all 3 will cry! This was Gibson's first real day on the town. As you know, Matt and I are weird about getting our babies out in public before they have had their first rounds of shots. The outfit that he is wearing today is a 9 month outfit!! I sure hope that my little man isn't in size 4 before he is year old!

Easter at Aunt Sashas

The Easter Bunny came!! LeLe put out carrots to be sure that the Easter bunny remembered to stop by the house. He brought the kids tons of surprises inside the eggs but the all time favorite was the Princess fingernail polish! After painting LeLe's fingers and toes, we took a shower. While in the shower LeLe goes "Where is my fingernail polish?" To say the least, I had no idea that they make washable fingernail polish but they do and the Easter bunny brought it! LeLe was so sweet and read Gibson his First Easter Spot book.







After loading up on candy, we went to my aunt Lisa's (Sasha) for our family Easter lunch. We had a fantastic time playing with the Skinner family. Thank heavens for my cousins, Emily and Lauren, as I didn't have to lift a finger all day and was able to enjoy my entire meal without having to even get up!!

We had a wonderful turnout as most of my aunts and uncles were all there. We got to see Aunt Tammie, Uncle Allen, Lauren, Joel, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Dave, Emily and then my entire family.

The girls had a WONDERFUL time hunting Easter eggs. We had to rehide them several times just so they could find them again. The food was incredible as always.

Easter at the Hollands

We woke up bright and early and got ready to head to Moody to Matt's parent's house. We had a fantastic meal and then the kids got to play together. Right before we left, we had an Easter egg hunt. LeLe did a fantastic job finding her Easter eggs. I guess all of the hiding of eggs over the past month inside the house helped.

Matt's sister, Kate, was able to meet Gibson for the first time and was suprised at how much he favors LeLe. Buddy and Pops couldn't believe how much he had grown.

Happy Birthday Saxon!

Today was Saxon's 3rd birthday. She had a pancake and pajama party at IHOP. LeLe, Gibson and I headed to Tuscaloosa for the 9:00 party. Luckily, we made it on time! LeLe was so excited to wear her pajamas to Saxon's birthday party. We are so fortunate that the girls are so very close. They all were so excited to see each other.

Gibson was very excited to see Uncle Matt and Pappy too!

The party turned out precious and we had a fantastic time eating pancakes and talking to all of Laura's Tuscaloosa friends.





After the party, I took the girls to the Tuscaloosa Barnyard while Laura took care of Gibson. As some of you know, Laura isn't a huge animal lover so it wasn't her thing. The girls had a fantastic time feeding the goats, sheep, pony, chicks, rabbits and donkey. They were able to get in the pen with the rabbits and chicks. LeLe had a fantastic time chasing them and caught one or two at one point. The lady helped the girls hold the bunnies. The man owner helped them ride the pony which was too much fun! We had a great time!
